March 19-21,2004
The Ohio Beef Expo is a wonderful venue for learning more about the different breeds of beef cattle available for sale in this country.
Seven beef breeds annually host a show and sale at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio during March. For more information see their web site at www.ohiobeefexpo.com.
The Ohio Limousin Association will once again sponsor the Limousin breed show and sale. Limousin cattle are one of the naturally lean Continental breeds that are so popular in the commercial beef industry. Known as “The Carcass Breed”, Limousin beef cattle add lean muscle and overall carcass size to calves when bred with British cattle such as Angus and Hereford. The calves come small and grow quickly to produce high quality feeder calves.
To learn more about the Limousin breed contact the North American Limousin Foundation at www.nalf.org.
